19 inch Alloys - Which tyre size

My brother is currently running Sline standard 18 inch 235/40/18 on his B7 A4 Cab

What tyre size shall he go for with 19 inch 8J rims


Was thinking 235 / 35 / 19

It depends on the offset of the wheels & how low the car is.

I'm running 225/35/19.

wheel are offset 45 and 8J width

235/35/19 will be fine to run on a B7 A4. The standard offset on the 18" S-line alloys is ET46 if memory serves me right. I know of someone running 245/35/19's on a B7 A4 lowered on Eibach springs, and he has had no issues.
