hi all, past 2 weeks my 2005 a4 2.0tdi 140bhp has felt very rough and theres a weird vibration in engine bay?done 63000 miles,due service in 1000 miles
any ideas guys?

Check out the sticky mate - Engine Balance Shaft Failure - Be very carefull driving it before getting it looked at.
Is it a BLB engine?!

yep just checked service book,says blb,should i be very worried???
got 2 months warranty left
would they fix this under warranty?

Did you buy it from a main dealer?

Get it in and checked - Have you read the thread?

Don’t want to scare monger mate, could be nothing, but if it is this fault - You need to get it in ASAP.

Yep, it does sound like a possible oil balancer shaft problem. I suggest you read the sticky thread in this B7 forum just in case.
