Removing paddles from MFSW (B7)

Hi all

I am thinking about doing a retrofit upgrade from non MFSW to MFSW and have a wheel that has the paddles on it...
Does anyone know if you can remove the shift paddles from the 3-spoke MFSW on a B7?

*my S4 is manual hence why i don't want the paddles!*

Think you really maybe best just to buy a MFSW without paddles in the first place.

I am thinking of adding a MFSW with paddels, but am yet to buy one.

I dont think you can add/remove them from what i have seen when i have been looking.
