    2.0T FSI is abit noisy....

    Having covered 70k my engine is abit tappy at idle. Nothing bad but want to know if they are all like this at this sort of mileage?
    It has full Audi service history etc. I spoke to Jabbasport and they said it's fine as they do this!?

    If it's got t*ts or wheels, it's TROUBLE!

    Yeah they all seem to tap a bit at idle - it's due to the FSi fuel lines I believe - I read the fuel system is a TDi style system on the petrol engine. Mine's only just done 28k and the tapping can be heard if I'm near a wall/solid object with the window down. Most of the time it's fine though, depends on how cold the engine is.

    That's interesting. Thanks for that. Mine is noisier when it's hot, perfect when cold. Strange...
    If it's got t*ts or wheels, it's TROUBLE!
