4WD conversion..?

This is going to sound abit far fetched maybe but is it possible to convert a FWD A4 TFSI to 4WD using a doner vehicle??
Are mounting points etc the same? I noticed the transmission tunnel on mine when on a ramp, got me thinking big time as may have spotted a cheeky bargain!!
Any help would be great.

I believe its possible on the b6 as all the mountings etc are there from the factory so I dont see any reason it should be any different on the b7.

Yep you can.

The B6 and B7 is the same chassis just different body panels.

Though the chassis maybe the same it's not just panels - The B7 has different transmission and uses parts of the newer A6, they also moved the engine further back - Hence why the handerling and ride are better. :icon_thumright:
