Diagnostic socket ??

Can anyone tell me where the diagnostic socket is on a
2005 A4 Avant 2.0 TDI (B7). Its not under the steering wheel as on earlier A4s, help !!! Thanks
 
Its on the right hand side under the dash past the bonnet release catch. Have a feel around and you'll find it.

I had to get my head under the dash with a torch to find it the first time.:sm4:
