HOMESAFE LIGHTS

Bit unsure about this but i have my homesafe lights on and they turn the rear lights and front fogs on when locking and unlocking the car at night BUT....

For some strange reason they do not turn on my front headlights/sidelights they only turn on the front fogs? anyone know why this is?

Could it be because i have auto lights engaged?

nope - that's what they're meant to do... it's to light the ground when u walk up your driveway to your door.

i wondered why the back lights came on too - unless it's meant to help with getting stuff from the boot?

Yeah the B6/7 had the fogs to do Coming/Leaving Home features not homesafe, where as the 8P A3 has the headlights which I cant stand, wish could have my S4 style with fogs on as bixenons on at that time of night is tad OTT, certain options can be adjusted with vagcom aswell so this maybe worth a try if you want to change some settings.
