hi people... a little help please... wing mirror replacement A4

hi guys... recently had some little ball bag kick off my wing mirror...


anyways... got a replacement from audi bla bla...



when ive come to take the door card off ive removed all the screws off the door card but it just wont budge at all.... is there any hiddens screws i should look for?? ill take a pic now to show how far im upto!!

I'm sure a B7 cab will differ from a B6 due to the pillarless doors if nothing else, and it hard to see from the photo you posted.

There is a black triangular piece of plastic at the base of the mirror but on the inside of the door - hidden from sight when the door as closed as it's in the door shut. Take this off, I can't remember if it is screwed in or just held in by the door rubbers, but it's not hard. Under that is a large Torx style bolt which screws into the mirror base holding it on.
