dis wiper stalk?

hi all new owner here A4 2.tdi sline avant
came from a mk4 golf 150tdi
loving the audi but one thing is bugging me,cant change the settings on the dis,i dont have the toggle on wiper stalk
how much is this to get done at audi?or is it easy to do yourself?

I got mine retrofitted by Hazydayz who did a great job for £170, I agree it is very frustrating if you can't change the display. Their price may vary slightly depending on how close you are to London, website is www.vwcruise.com

I did it myself when I was installing cruise, I put in the low washer fluid sensor instead of just grounding the wire and I found that was the hardest part. The cost depends on whether you have cruise/mf wheel or not and then you will need VCDS/Vag-com to code it.

if you know your way round a tool box and have acess to a opened copy of vag com its easy, I did my a couple of weekends ago. so if your around Notts area I can lend a hand.

oh and the stalk is about £70-£80 from TPS (dont order it from Audi order it from trade parts specialist)

i have the standard steering wheel,no cruise,dont have access to vag com,shame your so far away mate
used to do stuff to me golf but dont fancy taking stuff apart on the audi
anyone got part number for the stalk?
might just bite the bullet and get a quote off hazydayz

The part number is [FONT=&quot]4EO 953 503 C 4PK (for an avant), but because you don't have cruise or a multi function wheel, you might need a new Steering wheel control module.

nnaaahhhhhh the probs come when you want to add cruse or the mfsw if you only want the DIS you should be fine

sorry to drag up an old post but just to clarify.

To add DIS to my 2005 A4 V6 tdi Quattro saloon then all i need to buy is the multifunction DIS stalk and have it vag com'd to enable it??

Does anyone have a pt number for the saloon stalk??, thats if it's different to the avant stalk?

It's frustrating not having the DIS as all my previous cars have had something similar, mfa etc
