Before I take the wife's A4 Cab in to the dealers next week I thought I would check we are not missing something obvious.
After about fifteen minutes of driving when around freezing point and after using the demist setting and then changing to just screen heat the car suddenly steams up all the windows. It is bad enough to be really dangerous as the only clear part is the very centre section of the windscreen, all side windows and the sides of the screen are unuseable.
I am assuming that the aircon is failing, but has anyone had a similar problem or are we missing a trick?
Car is 08 reg 3.0tdi.
