SDS Microphone retrofit - non bluetooth.

Hi folks,

I have an '07 B7 2.0tdi S-Line saloon with factory fitted RNS-E. I have applied the SDS hack successfully and would now like to hook up a mic for it so I can use with the Sat Nav. I don't have bluetooth fitted so assuming I will need a mic.

Can anyone advise whether I can do this and where to get a mic from?

I'm guessing you have the multi-function steering wheel already?

If so then just buy a mic (and some wire!) and wire it to the mic in/out pins on the RNS-E, you can get the Mics from Audi or vagparts etc.
