Has anyone installed a dump valve onto there A4?

I have a 2.0T FSI and i quite fancy fitting a dump valve... dont want a 'chavy' dump valve but a quiet discrete whoosh...

Forge Atmospheric Blow Off Valve Spacer 2.0T

from awesome...

Anyone used either?

Did you fit the DV eventually??

If you did, what sort of difference did it make to the car?

I'm thinking of investing in a DV for my 2.0T.... just wanted to do a bit of research before i commit....

No.... I could not get the bolts off...

I took it into my local audi guy and he did not want to fit it as he says they will throw up the management lights..

So at the moment its still sat in glove box.... but i still want to get it fitted.

Im not fitting a dump valve, just a spacer that will give the blow off sound...

i know some people on here feel it may be a little, well a lot 'chav' but i just fancy it for a bit... Dont think it will stop on for long, but i just want to give it a try.

i know its a bit chavy but am i wrong in saying that a dv would prolong the life of the turbo as it would keep it spinning?

so its compressor stall your after then?

yea i heard that it is good for the turbo.

i want one, i like the blow of sound along with a deep note of the exhaust!

makes the machine sound agressive!

I am taking my blow off valve off my 2.0T FSI soon as I am getting moaned at by the girlfriend for the noise it makes.

Anyone interested in making me an offer?
