Key Scratches

Hi,

Had my passenger door scratched deeply on Saturday night about 18" long, anyone know the best method to get this fixed, are the claims made by the likes of ChipAway true or is it best a full respray, the colour is the S4 black/graphite metallic so it will be a sod to fix.

Why do people get such a kick out of doing this stuff??

Sorry to hear this mate..comes with the territory of owning a nice car I'm afraid.
As for the scratch I suppose it depends how deep it is. Chipsaway will come and have a look and advise for free I'm sure (did on a previous car I owned anyway).

Thanks Mate, the scratch is deep but not to metal. Chipsaway qouted £164 which isnt bad but I decided whilst I am living where I am for the next year to do a temporary repair myself as its probably only going to happen again.

Got some paint on it last night and it looks a lot less noticeable already
