Sorry for yet another question on the subject of Xenons.
I'd love to fit them to my A4 Avant S-Line 170 , and I don't really want to put in the cheapo HID kits if at all possible.
I have seen genuine Xenon headlamps for sale on eBay in Germany pretty reasonable, and wondered if anyone had fitted them in a similar way.
I don't know if lights made for the euro left hand drive vehicles are different from our UK units - anyone know if they would be compatible?

(I know they still wouldn't be 100% legal because of the washerless bumper BTW)

Cheers

I think the direction they point can be changed with vagcom. Dunno for sure though but I thought about doing this too so would be good if someone could confirm.

LHD and RHD headlights are different part numbers. I think the adjustment of the beam will only 'flatten' the beam pattern, ie it only cuts off the top, it wont make it dip fully to the left as they should do. Keep searching for some RHD lights IMO!

I thought that might be a fly in the ointment ! I thought perhaps there would be a LHD to RHD 'switch' or adjuster on the lamp unit, ,,,, ah well . its was worth a punt :)
