Phone Cradle

You can take off the cradle pretty easily, but you will be left with a square hole in the centre console !!!! There is not a ' blank ' from Audi to fit it or anything, so the only solution is to either get it professionally filled ( about £100 ), or buy a new centre console without the phone mounting ( about £70 )and fit it in place of the original. I know this because I did exactly this when I decided to remove mine. I still find it hard to believe that a company which has ' Vorsprung Durch Tecknik ' as it's motto cannot find a way of mounting the phone which doesn't just leave a great big hole, but there you go !!

It is a time consuming thing to do, but relatively straightforward if you go slowly.
