Differences

Can anyone comment on the differences on the S4 B6 vs B7 ?

I know the door blades are body coloured;
Tailpipes are 2 x twins;
Body panels obviously;

Anything else ?

And would you keep a B6 and do it up, or buy a newer model...??

Improved front suspension set up. Exhaust has a butterfly valve to improve the V8 sound at higher revs. B6 style Avus alloys replaced by a new design (but still available as an option).

Personally I'd get the B7 version over the B6 now as it won't look massively different to the forthcoming B8 model and B6's are getting older now (and less likely to have an Audi warranty).

That said, I still love the look of the B6 S4!

I too have been thinking of getting a B7 S4 to replace my B6!
Have driven a few (one was an 07 plate with on 50 mile on the clock)
Didnt feel that much different or quicker but standard exhaust sounds
a lot deeper!
And as the price wasnt much cheaper than a second hand RS4
think Ill hang on.
I recon a few more months and well see RS4s under 40K!!!
In the mean time I think a quick trip to APS (stage 2) should keep me happy!
