Good Day.
Surprised to find both front tyres down to 4mm tread depth across centre 50% after 11000 miles(6mm on side) . Pressures kept at 32 psi. (Pressure Sticker recommends 31 psi) Reportedly this type of wear occurs due to too high pressure. Continental 235/45 R17 fitted.
Discussed with dealer service manager who tells me that this wear is not unusual on A4 due suspension design. We drive carefully and typically used to get close to 30000 miles on my Golf MkIV 1.8T with Continental 16".
Does anyone have any comment or experience on this ?
Thanks
