I've recently bought an A4 S-line Avant. Right at the start, I told my dealer that I was not prepared to accept the space saver spare wheel which comes as standard on this model.
We did some experimenting and found that the Wheel Well was perfectly capable of accepting a full size wheel. So in order to get my business the dealer agreed to supply the car with a full size alloy wheel.
Now i've got the car i've noticed that the spare is a Pirelli, whilst the other tyres are Continental. Is there any safety issue in driving with a mixture of tyre brands on the car?
