Does anyone recognise this fault and have advice please?
I bought my new A4 2.5TDi Cab in Sep 05. I have done a massive 14,000miles since then. In that time i have had a new clutch and a new fly wheel and still the clutch judders when cold for a mile or so.
Firstly I was accused of slipping the clutch and when it was removed hot spots were visible but I do not slip the clutch and look after the car like a bit of gold. that was at 6,500miles. At 9,000 miles it started to go again so they said at the dealership that Audi UK said go out and slip the clutch to burn off the corrosion forming on the clutch plate. When I got up off the floor from laughing so much they replaced the fly wheel. All free of charge. Now the problem has started again.
Audi UK accept there is a design problem and they cant fix it at present. the dealership who have been brilliant are considering giving me an equivalent new model.
Has anyone else experienced the problem ?

I get a similar problem, but only when the car is warm. Then, as soon as I pull away in 1st, it nearly always judders!

Apparently yours is curable. They told me that an A4 Tdi problem has been identified but not a cure for the 2.5TDi. Press your local dealer for the solution.
Cheers, Mike
