I had a quick chat with a bloke from K&N filters today at the Auto Sport show at the NEC. He said that I would notice an increase in the cars performance etc.

Has anyone changed to a K&N air filter on their 2.0Tdi?
Have you noticed a increase in performance?

Also I saw the IN-Pro chrome mirrors and can report they look great!!!! Got mine on order just got to wait a few weeks as they are in very short supply.

In-Pro also sell the chrome mesh rad grill like on the Bentley and Chrysler 300C for the A6, This looked stunning!!!

Cheers

Hi Mate
You will find that it will be mainly throttle response that you will notice a difference in
It will alow more air flow so it will fuel better
Not only do you get better responce there , but it has a million mile warranty
Just clean it and you have a filter for life
K&N are and have been the market leaders for years ,

The oil from the filter buggers up MAF sensors :(
Hi Mate
No I am afaid that is a myth
I have seen sooo many MAF`s that have failed , even standard cars within warranty period and have never seen anything other than an OEM filter , that it CANNOT be down to oil in the filters
There are many many hundreds of people use K&N filters and they dont put the done in MAF`s down to the filter
I have a Pipercross filter on my little Fabia and that has had a MAF , that is not down to a K&N filter either

The MAF`s fail as they are cough cough not THAT good ;)
