new a4...from a a3

Hi
I have just brought a new S-line A4 and px the A3 s-line Sportback because of the lack of boot space.
Quick question...
The steering felt really really heavy compared to my A3, why is this ?
Its not a brand new car and has done 10K and 5 months old

The electric power steering system is a lot lighter on the A3's than the conventional hydraulic power steering on A4's. I went from a Sportback to an A4 and it feels totally different.

Handling wise its hard to say, the cabrio weighs about as much as a cross channel ferry so its not as sharp as the A3 but it rides way better also probably down to the weight. Swings and roundabouts really....
