I am trying to put a new number plate holder on the back of the car. The front was easy as it was 2x screws. The rear is bolts.

What do i need to remove these? Is it done via the front or it is done differently like from the inside of the boot?

Should just be able to unbolt them, they don't have a nut or anything on the other end.

They screw into fixed holes in the boot lid.

No you dont need to go into the boot lid at all.

Just unbolt them with a ratchet think its a 10mm. Bolts out > number plater housing will come off. Just dont strip them as they look a bit corroded. Otherwise you will need to drill them out.

Cheers I will have to see if anyone has a socket so I can take bolts out. I don't have anything like that :)

Can't believe it was 2 simple bolts keeping the place holder in. Didn't have a socket set so bought one that goes up to 13mm etc. Popped the new holder on in two min flat :)
