Anyone done it or know how to do it??

No fancy auto dim or rain sensors - just boggo standard mirror.

The reading I've done suggests the base should just twist, but think that was perhaps for the fancy mirrors..... I've tried twisting mine to no avail.

Don't wanna end up having to pay for a new windscreen!

Assuming it is a standard circular button mount, it really is just a case of twisting it off. If it won't come, twist harder!

Hmmmm really didnt seem like it was keen for moving.

Maybe need to get some mole grips on it or something..... I can see this ending badly.

To take it off just pull it off. But to put it back on is anothing thing, I pushed just abit to much pushing back on and the windscreen cracked

Hmmmm so one vote for pull, another for twist lol :-s

Definayely twist it off then if replacing twist back on, I have done this a few times

twist it off fella jobs a good en

Well..... With a wee but extra leverage from a spanner..... Off it came, and no cracks to be seen!!

GREAT SUCCESS :)

Cheers folks

Do these twist clockwise or anti clockwise to remove? Or either way?
