I've just finished cleaning and proofing my roof and it looks pretty good if I say so myself. Only problem is that I know when it dries tomorrow it wont look quite so black.
Can anyone recommend a good colour restorer? I tried renovo once but didn't like the finish.

PS I know this won't apply to many, but if you own a cabby and a caravan I've just found out that the soft top cleaner is absolutely brilliant for removing the black streaks that caravans seem to attract over the winter. The Autoglym twin pack is ideal as there is enough cleaner for the roof and the caravan.

Feel free to rip the pxxh about caravans, I don't care :)

Steve have you got a link or a pic of the autoglym stuff as I need to get some marks of the boat?

This is it but can be had cheaper - done mine Wednesday- well done for masking off the body and windowes, I'm too lazy and spend another 30 mins cleaning it off!

Yep I got it from Halfords as well, £20 each on a 3 for 2. I kind of got into the habit of masking the car after using renovo, it took me hours to clean that stuff off, the Autoglym is actually not too bad.

TBH I don't think I would buy this kit just for cleaning, I always use at least twice as much proofer as cleaner so I've ended up with spare cleaner.
I was getting fed up trying to get the black marks off, used car polish (works but takes a bit of rubbing), some household cleaners before trying this on a whim, sprayed on, rub up with the rough hood sponge and instantly rinsed off, worked a treat.
Unless you need the proofer it will work out as an expensive cleaner though.

I too have run out of proofer but have half a bottle of shampoo left
