Hi guys

On the front calipers on the B7 S4...

The last time I removed them I managed to snap off both of the brackets which attach to the rear of the outer brake pads (

Now, about to do it again and wondered what the correct proceedure is to get these off easily?

What I did last time (incorrect it seems!) was to pry out the two ends of the clips and then the centre just sprang out (with the brake pad brackets - oops!)

From memory, the rears don't have the spring clips???

Any advice appreciated! (I want to do it right this time!)

I don't believe there is a set procedure for this. I was just extra careful when removing/fitting to be honest. I'll have a look on ELSAWIN when I get a chance and see if there is anything mentioned in there.

Ok great! I'm thinking it's probably correct to remove it from the centre - but unsure which way to press it in to get it out.
