Rear springs

I have 245 wide wheels with a 1/2 in spacer on them (previous owner put them on the car) which rub slightly in the arches when i hit bumps with passengers in the rear of the car. I cant remove the spacers as the front wheels wont fit without them. Im just wondering if fitting stiffer springs on the rear will help? Which springs should i buy? Will i need additional parts?

Try changing to 235's or go for a thinner spacer. That's what i would do before anything else mate

235s and 15-20 mm spacers are fine depending on wheel offset.

ok cheers for the replies. changing wheels isnt an option at the moment so it will have to stay as it is for a while.
