Thanks for the replies, i asked the question as next to my workshop is a bodywork place & I'm a frequent visitor, yesterday when in there a front bumper from an a6 was just about to be cut up & go in the bin, so i snaffled it up on a chance it could be a spare for mine, very little damage on it but ins said replace it, ( why our premiums keep rising ) so if anyone wants one I'm your man.
