Offset question

I'm after a second set of alloys for my 05 3.0 quattro, current size are 8j 18 inch et43. Will any other offset fit ?

Yes they will. Do you know the width and offset of the new wheels?

I have a mate who owns a garage who has three 8j 18 inch et 47s I could get for a drink, if they will fit then I just need to look for one more, maybe two so I can put in the spare well.
what is the difference between 43s and 47s ?, & no smart assed answers of " 4 " lol
would any other offset fit ?

If the wheels are the same width as your old ones the answer literally is 4mm. The new wheels will sit 4mm inwards than your old ones, 4mm in from the arch and on the inside edge of the wheel 4mm closer to the suspension.
