Hi all,not a good start to a cold Sunday morning.can any one tell me if a s rack from a diesel a4 the same as petrol.I
Have a 2007 a4 2.0 tfsi quattro and I need to replace the rack do I need one from a quattro or will one from
A fwd suit.any tips on where to Start when removing the
Old one would be good aswell tks

theres 3 diffrent racks for the 2.0 fsiT
tou really need the part number

Will I need to take out the old one for the part no or is
There any other way to get it,as for fitting it I was going to do it
Myself but got quoted 200 euro by a machanic to do it so that's my mind
Made up.

There was a bolt missing from it on one side so the other
Bolt that was left couldn't take the pressure and shaped of
Leaving a nice big hole in the rack.

its very tight to get at took the garage i use 4 hours to remove first time
and around 2.30 hr the second time
