Sorry if this was discussed. But I removed the vacuum pipe from the intake manifold actuator to test for a leak in the actuator (split diaphragm) and I blew into the pipe that I removed and could hear air escaping way down on the piping somewhere. I tried to trace the leak but the space is so restricted there. My question, should air be escaping on that pipe or not? Somebody maybe checked his as well? Thanks!

If the pipe was not to the diaphragm but the end that goes of to the magnetic solenoid valve, yes its possible as when the valve is not energised it could vent to atmosphere.
