Just curious really. On other cars I have owned the aircon won't turn on if the temperature is less than a certain amount, say 5C. I believe this is to stop the compressor freezing. On the Audi I think this would be equivalent to not being able to turn off Econ mode. However it doesn't stop you. So what's going on?
Anyone know?

- You're expected to be a grown up and do this yourself if the temp is low
