Bose sound system

Have the Bose sound system in my S-line with standard head unit, quite disappointed with its output, is there a way of increasing the output? aftermarket head unit might let me increase volume more?

When I changed my concert headunit for a Pioneer one it changed the sound quality alot! The standard speakers sound good even when loud.

If I was you i'd change the headunit, Pioneer and Alpine ive used in previous cars and the sound quality is amazing.

Yeh thought that, when I changed the head unit in my M3 the sound volume increased a lot to, the Audi head unit limits the volume
