    Heater Problem?....is it a problem?

    Hey all,

I've recently bought a 2006 A4 S-Line 2ltr TDI. Lovely car but have found what might be a slight issue with the heater / aircon. Hopefully someone will be able to tell me if it's normal!

I have the ECON on and the AUTO off. I have the air blowers set to 2 bars. This is fine, however, when I knock the air blower speed up to 3 bars, the AUTO lights (on both sides) come on! This only seems to happen when the air blower speed is on 3 bars. If I knock it up to 4 bars and above, the AUTO lights stay off, as I believe they should. Is this normal, it's driving me nuts!

    Cheers,
    NS

I can't imagine this being much of an issue.
I have mine on auto all the time. The econ button doesn't save you anything and if the heater still works ok just ignore it.

Never noticed on mine. Will check tomorrow. Personally I always leave on auto and just adjust the temp. Also set mine so drivers side sets passenger as well. Stops the wife playing with the buttons
