Is there any way to tell if the DPF functions have been disabled in VCDS.

My PD170 has all the usual bits replaced, Injectors, Injector loom, EGR.

Drives really well, way quicker than previous PD170's I've driven, kicks out a fair bit of smoke on hard acceleration. The DPF itself doesn't look to have been cut open which was the first thing I checked.

Any ideas?

If it's chucking out smoke then the rule of thumb is it doesn't have a DPF, unless of course theres a hole going through it ofcourse or any other issue to stop it functioning properly.
