Hi Guys,
I've just bought some new plates from demonplates. I decided that rather than drill them I would use the sticky pads as it looks neater. Front one went on fine but the rear was another story - one of the bolts had completely seized. Luckily I managed to get it out with my drill. I've noticed that underneath the rear one is this sort of rubber padding stuff - unfortunately overnight it's got completely soaked so I can't stick my replacement on as the padding is soaking wet. Those of you that have done the same is it best for me to scratch/remove that padding? So that I'm sticking the new plate just onto the metal?
Cheers
Alex
