Xenon Conversion with OEM headlights and Aftermarket D1S kit

I have the headlight units and harness ready to go just need bulbs and ballasts now.. But was thinking going for something like this:

D1S HID Kit
CANBUS PRO DIGITAL HID XENON CONVERSION SLIM KIT 35w GENUINE BALLAST REPLACEMENT | eBay


I know it wont be as a high a quality but its only £70.

I was wondering more in terms whether it will throw errors or cause problems etc?

Do you need the D1S kit? Can you not use the H7 kits?

Mate, If i could I would, I have about 30+ pairs in the garage lol.. Its a completely different shaped base. I managed to make an adapter that would sit in on top of a slightly modified H7 bulb and hold it in but the beam pattern wasn't quite right so I'm just going to get one of those kits installed and have them in before winter..

I've done a little spraying on them too so

I've bought the kit
Fed the kufatec loom into cabin

Just need to connect it all up and fit the headlights.

Are the bulbs in the kit the same as normal D1S bulbs?
