Diesel particulate filter obstructed light has came on

Basically came on this morning car still runs no different than usual but what to do now? Not sure if this is right but is this where you drive it on the motorway at a certain amount of revs and mph then clears on its own?

Could be doing a regen, a good 2-3k blast on a dual carriageway for 20 minutes may help.

There should be some pretty specific instructions in the owner's manual on how to clear it.

Went to the barbers had me barnet cut got back to the car and the light is off and done about 20 miles since. Abit weird

Not really, its probably completed the regen now.

Did the B7's have a DPF? only the 170's maybe.
