Just wondering if this is anything to worry about... I've been noticing a creaking noise when coming to a halt. Recorded this sound when depressing the brake pedal while stationary.

Break pad light is actually on, but serviced last week by specialist and they reckon pads have 50% left..

Cheers.

Sounds like the brake pedal mechanism needs lubricating. Or a child playing on a seesaw near some wood pigeons! Check both front brake pad wear indicator wires are connected? Look at caliper for connector. If connected, wire(s) maybe broken close to pad - remove and inspect pads.

Thanks, so creak is nothing to worry about then...? Servicing garage said wear indicator wires must be too close to surface of pad so nothing they can do. Annoying if I have to put up with the warning for the next 20,000 miles!
