Cabin/Pollen filter....where on earth is it?

I've read that it lived in the drivers side of the engine bay, up against the firewall. After wrestling with the horrendously places torq bolts I found out that it was something completely different. Some kind of metal housing, ecu??

So where on earth is it guys?

That's because it's on the passenger side, to the right of the battery if viewed from the front of the car.
