just contacted audi to price a air con pipe
crazy people want £133.00 for it, so asked the guy for the part number
"sorry sir we dont give out part numbers" was the frosty reply

so can anybody tell me how you guy,s get your part numbers please

so i can be a cheap sod and try and get one off ebay

I have always just called in, sat down with the parts lad and he gives me a print off for my parts(s) with their part number and cost, SIMPLES !

if its that simple i will give it a go tomorrow

but by the way they was with me on the phone today
i will be a bit weary of getting a smack in the nose when i am sitting next to him when i ask

Just ask them to print off or email you the diagrams so you can identify the correct part. They was more than happy to give me the part number for mine, £200+vat, or 75 on ebay
