I'm gonna have to get one of these ordered up. There's holes left in mine from the full size number plate :(

Some potentially stupid questions, but i'll ask anyway -Do these parts do away with the recess completely? I assume its still possible to attach a plate to them? And finally, are these a bumper off job to fit? I'm guessing they will be....

yes the recess is done away with you could still stick a plate on but it would look silly

its held on by 4 fixings on the underside

and the bumper stays on its a 5 min job to swap over

do you have s-line or SE bumper ?
 
Hmmm yeah a plate stuck on a smooth panel might look a bit crud.

Ive an s line bumper. Problem is I'm running a small 5 digit plate so you could argue that the oversized recess also looks a bit crud.
