Suspicious part

I have had my car now for nearly 2 years and Iv just noticed some thing that everyone else hasn't go what I have apart from some of the chaps with Avants.
That is a shark tail looking aerial
Now I have a RNS-E with bluetooth,sat-nav and in the front arm rest some kind of docking for a phone and my car is 07 plate and an s-line
Is this meant to be there or did someone just stick it on for the sake of it?
Gone back though photos when I brought it to make sure it came with it and no one stuck it there and thought it was a joke

its the shark fin
its normal for BT and nav factory fitted
the phone docking in the AR you can but diffrent cradles to fit diffrent phones

I thought the A4 saloon/avant had a GPS aerial built into the rear windscreen? Mine's in the boot lid as it's a cab, but I don't think I've ever seen a B7 with a 'shark fin' aerial... sure it's not stuck on?

i had 1 on my old 07 avant
my bros got 1 on his saloon
could also be retrofitted.

My 07 Avant has one too .. Thought it was normal ?!
