Recently I bought a decat for a Quattro cheap on fleabay.
i did do a search on the web but couldn't find much info on wether the same decat is used on Quattro and fwd or not but since it was going cheap I just took the plunge.
Does anyone know if t does fit or not because......
Today after messing around for almost 7 hours lying in my back in the drive trying to fit it, it seems like its about an inch maybe 2 too short. Fortunately I had a a random spacer made for an old project years ago that fitted perfectly. However I now need to buy extra gasket as didn't count on having to use a thick metal spacer so exhaust is blowing a wee bit, knocks on start up but does sound noise and maybe placebo but feels like its pulling much better.
Now I'm stuck in two minds since its a Frankenstein job at the mo between putting the CAT back on or get another decat if I am right in presuming a Quattro decat doesn't fit a 2wd.
Either that or a custom downpipe?
