Worth buying aluminium spigot rings?

Hi,
I've just received a set of 18" S5 style alloys for my B7 and since the CB is 66.6 on these wheels, there's a set of plastic spigot rings included to decrease the CB to 57.1. However just came across these aluminium rings on ebay, would they be significantly better than the plastic ones or is it not really worth splashing out extra for the aluminium ones?

Not worth it really as all they do is make the wheel central to the hub, so they can be bolted down.

Some come with alloy some come in plastic. Alloy versions can corrode over time as found on my OZs, otherwise I prefer plastic myself
 
no mate no worth really.
as above the plastic ones will do the job. so don't waste money on something that won't make a real difference.
