Opinions on darker wheels - Ocean Blue S-Line

I have recently purchased an Ocean Blue S Line which as standard looks great in my opinion. The only part of the exterior that lets it down is minor, but visible curbing on all of the alloys.

I'm going to get them refurbished and despite the standard silver looking good I've been thinking about going darker. Not black or anything close but a dark metallic grey.

Anyone done something similar?

If anyone has any pictures I'd really appreciate seeing them
