Oil!!

Does any one no what oil i need i have a audi a4 2.0tdi 140bhp S line. I cant get hold of the bloke i bought it of to find out and i need to do a 70 mile trip. And my min light has just popped on about 5 mile ago. Cheers in advance

More than likely 5w30, castrol edge is the best to use tbh.

Was this a recent purchase car or a while back, if recent then did you do a level check before purchasing, reason I ask is if its dropped so quick then that's a little concerning.

I bought it middle of march and i have roughly done 2.5k miles and it was bang on between the min max level is this normal?

Check it on the dipstick. The oil level sensors can become faulty, it's fairly common. To reset the sensor just open the bonnet up and then close it.
