I have been busy over the past few weeks getting parts to go on the car, so wanted to pop a few pics up of what I have done and how we did it.
first off the Eibachs........ OMG What a difference anyone who hasn't done this, seriously do it. I know tiffy has covered this but car rides so much better than standard s line set up, handling is greatly improved and the look. Here's a few rubbish iPhone pics I took while my mechanic friend was fitting them. I bought the replacement pinch bolts just in case but there was a much easier way of doing it leaving them untouched.
strut removed, now for new shiny spring..
the process was the same the other side and the backs were easy.
once the suspension was done we started on the forge, was hard to take pics so there are only a few..
removed old diverter, replaced with this.
we then tackled the Cupra splitter, what a great transformation.
will get some better pics of ride height and splitter when the weather improves. The forge diverter on the 2.0tfsi is a must, the car no longer feels flat, everything has been sharpened up with the throttle response and power release after gear changes, had it all done in time for remap next week
next mod to have done is wheels... Car going in Sunday watch this space.....
