I've already done it Carl but the button failed. I was wondering if it was something I have or haven't done or whether its just a faulty button

Not sure if this helps but I've had this eBay item in my watch list for ages:

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/RS4-kit-bo...p2047675.l2557

At the bottom of the description there are two links to some install instructions.

    Hope that helps

i used a richbrook one in mine as i fitted it to my B6 flip over cigar lighter

the DTM loom is a bit more old school with starter wire so i'd advise a relay or you'll be having full current going through the switch / button on cranking

you can use this as it's pretty close to our set up

    Google Image Result for http://lh3.ggpht.com/taplive/SE3-Lz0ay4I/AAAAAAAABcI/1AJLDDaE9VA/s800/Starter%20Button.JPG

    and here's mine
