black exhaust tips

ive just brought an 07 a4 special edition with very scabby black exhaust tips, apart from main dealer any ideas where i could get new ones from TIA

Just clean yours up mate.

I had exactly the same, spent 2 hours on them and they are shiny as new.

Metal polish such as Autosol (buy it in Halfords) and fine wire wool (grade 00). Elbow grease. Job done.

Brass metal polish and a cloth with do it

I actually did it with a dremel and polishing wheel.

Took some time but well pleased with the outcome.
