I had a quick look at opening up the fuse box in the engine bay (by the battery), and there appears to be a screw down the back, very hard to get to. Is there a guide to help open it up? Or anyone got any ideas? I even tried to take off the windscreen wiper so I could remove the plastic underneath but the wiper bolt was attached solidly - no movement in that bolt!

Assuming you mean the fuse box at the rear of the engine bay on the left, I used a torx bit, just the actual bit itself, turning it with a spanner and you can undo it that way.

A bit fiddly but can be done.

Cheers for that. Do I need to remove the plastic bit that runs along under the wipers? Seems to be in the way, or will the lid come off with it in place?

The lid can be removed without removing anything else - just, as its a tight squeeze!!

nice one, i'll give it a go at the weekend!
